What is Breast augmentation?
The right implant isn't chosen by cup size but by chest width, tissue thickness and your goals. At the consultation we take precise measurements and you see implant samples up close, so the choice is fully informed.
Is it right for me?
- Naturally small or asymmetric breasts
- Volume loss after pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss
- Good general health and no pregnancy planned soon
Procedure steps
A small incision is usually made in the fold under the breast and the implant is placed under the muscle or under the gland. Incision site and placement are agreed with you beforehand.
Recovery
A support bra is worn for 4–6 weeks. Light activity from day three, desk work after about a week and strenuous exercise after 6 weeks.
Risks and safety
- Capsular contracture (firm scar tissue around the implant)
- Minor asymmetry
- Change in nipple sensation, usually temporary
- Infection (rare)

Common questions
Can I breastfeed with implants?
In most cases yes — especially with an under-breast incision and under-muscle placement, the milk glands and ducts are left intact.
How often do implants need replacing?
Modern implants have no fixed expiry date. Periodic check-ups, with an ultrasound when needed, are enough; replacement is only needed if a problem occurs.
