What is Liposuction?

Liposuction is not a weight-loss method; it reshapes areas where fat stays despite a healthy weight. A good result depends on skin quality and keeping your weight stable afterwards.

Is it right for me?

  • Weight close to your ideal
  • Skin with good elasticity
  • Localised fat that resists diet and exercise

Procedure steps

Through incisions a few millimetres long, a numbing solution is injected and fat removed with fine cannulas. A compression garment goes on straight after surgery.

Recovery

The compression garment is worn for 4–6 weeks. Walking from day one is encouraged. The final result shows at about 3 months once swelling settles.

Risks and safety

  • Uneven skin contour
  • Fluid collection (seroma)
  • Temporary numbness
  • Blood clots (rare)
